Who am I and where am I Going?

The journey that we are called to is very simple but due to ignorance it feels more
complex than it is. We are called to walk in love and FOLLOW Christ. The biggest instruction
we received was to follow Christ. We find this difficult to do because of the trouble that comes
with being called but when we truly look to God instead of our issues, we will be able to say "who
are you great mountain?"
God is not threatened by any tactic that the enemy comes up with. He is undefeated and there is
nothing that the Kingdom of darkness can do to change that. God is calling us to a place of
understanding who we are and the power we possess. In life we hear a lot of opinions about ourselves from different sources and people. We tend to accept the earthly culture of what a person’s identity should be instead of who God says we are. We are royal priesthood who have power and dominion over the earth. (Genesis 1:26-28)
I have found that in my moments of feeling inadequate and defeated; once I look to God,
he never tells me anything new. He reminds me of who he is and the power he gave me. The
continuous cycle of him simply reminding me of whos' I am proves to me that I do have power and once I am in his presence and walking according to his purpose; yes, the weapons will form but they will not prosper.
So let us correct the false narrative of what people say we are. Let me start!
I am Audia and I am called by God. He looked beyond all my flaws and knowing what I would’ve done, he still died to just so that I can have power to conquer. I am God’s child, and he didn’t just give me life, but he also gave me gifts. I am gifted to write, sing, speak life and be a light in what is promised to be a very dark world. He tells me that because I am his and he is the King of all Kings; I am a Queen. He says that I am strong and beautiful. My flaws will never change the fact that I am called! We did not end up here by chance! He knew us and he knew how wicked we would be,
and he smiled at our wretched souls, took them and saved them.
So now that I have told you who I am and who God says we all are, will you come back home?
Our homes are in heaven. We are on temporary assignments here on earth to represent
Christ and reflect his light. Let us not get comfortable with what the world has to offer because
this world will fade away. The only thing that will last is Life with the father. When our work on
earth is done and he comes down to determine whether we were fruitful or not, he will there and then judge us.
Our work!
I find it mesmerizing that the bible used that word to describe the assignment (Romans 2:6). It is all the proof that we need! We do not belong here! We are here to do what God called us to do and if we forget who he is and who we are, we will get lost. In him we live, move and have our beings. Now that you are reminded who you are, whose you are and why you are here, where are you going?
Do not get lost in what this world has to offer. The rewards that the Lord has for us on the
other side is far greater than the bait of a reward that the enemy will use. Lucifer is a thief.
Therefore, whatever he has to offer is not an actual offering. His aim is to rob us of our
inheritance because he gave his away and he cannot return to the father. So, while you are
journeying here on earth, remember that God is the only good thing that we have with us (Psalm
16:2). Remember the assignment. The objective is to represent the father, conquer and reunite
with him. So, whenever you get flustered faith; remember who you are and where you’re going.
PRAYER
Abba,
I thank you for loving me and trusting me enough to call me even though you knew that I would
sometimes forget who you are and what I am called to do. Lest I forget oh God, lead me to the
rock and remind who I am. Remind me why you created me oh God! Make me new oh God! May
I never forget that you never made a mistake by trusting me with your spirit. May I never forget
that you keep whoever you call. Be a constant force in my life oh Lord as I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death; may I reflect your light! Have your way in my life oh Lord.
Amen
